Tony Kroos position was handed over completely to Valverde so that next season he will wear the number 8 jersey. Carlo Ancelotti carried out many experiments throughout this season, rotating Valverde until finally the midfielder position was entrusted to him with Bellingham and Modric. So if later Valverde officially replaces Kroos, I'm sure my guess is correct.
It seems like Ancelotti won't sell too many reserve players at the moment because some of the current reserve players already have good quality, but maybe Ancelotti will look for a replacement for Joselu if he can't make it permanent at Madrid.
And for the defense line, I don't think anyone needs to be replaced because if the defense line is replaced with new players, it will definitely take more time to adapt.
