Yeah I think the same. They are doing the right thing by working on solving defensive problems first. Because their goal statistics were like 57 scored and 58 conceded. Really horrible for a big team like them... 
When it comes to Erik ten Hag I think he will have to finish in top 4 at worst to have a chance to move on with the team for another season. If we see them out of it again then I don't think the chairman would like to keep him longer. I would like to see them in the title competition next season but I don't know whether they can make that big progress for now. But this team deserve to bring back their Alex Ferguson times one day.

A good defense will bring out the best of Andrea Onana. I have seen this with Ajax and also same with Inter Milan. I won't be surprised too when I start seeing him becoming the goalkeeper with the highest clean sheets and also winning the golden glove. It's a good thing to solve the defense because that's what will guarantee a side that'll win trophies. With Rapheal Varane gone and Victor Lindelof joining Jose Mourinho soon, I think Manchester United needs two solid defenders.
A deal to get Branthewaite completely from Everton would be lovely. He is a tall defender with pace and has a good IQ. With time, he'll work on his ball passing skills.
