Even if they didn't win the FA Cup, Man United won't even be able to enter the Europa League next season. This is really dropped. Meanwhile, in the previous season, Man United had a position at least in the top 3 and entered the UCL in the 2022/2023 season, only they failed and entered the Europa League qualification at that time. To be honest, this season, their procedures are quite horrible and there is a lot of ridicule aimed at them. It's just that they won the FA Cup, at least this is one remedy for their downturn this season.
Manchester United has extended Erik Ten Hag's remaining contract for another year. However, the club wants to limit Ten Hag's influence, especially with regard to player transfers. The club seems to want to maximize players from the academy. What we know is that Ten Hag is able to polish Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo. These two young players were mainstays last season and contributed to winning the FA Cup title.
It seems like Man United has learned a lot from what happened in past seasons. Yes, and they should have acted that way, especially because of Ten Hag's several failures in recruitment which caused Man United big losses. And now, they are building the ruins of that happiness again. Whatever the case, yes, there was a time when Man United was really respected because of his abilities and performance at the club throughout the season. It's just that we have been waiting for it for a very long time and there have been no significant changes. So, that's why the Man United era is considered a failure.
Manchester United have been consistently underperforming in the last few matches and after such a poor performance, they must find the reason behind this poor performance. If Manchester United can find these reasons then they must work on them so that their performance is not so bad in the next season. It makes no sense for the club to keep players who are not useful for the team with excessive salaries. The Manchester United manager should move into the same role as Luis Enrique, who joined PSG and sold most of his players from the club. Those who perform and contribute to the team will be in the club's plans but those who don't perform are not needed in the club.
