bc.game is doing domain squatting or typosquatting.
I tried to access Stake.com mirror links like stake.games but mistyped it as Stake.game (without the "s") and was I redirected to bc.game. I think this is unethical because bc.game should not use similar domains (typosquatting) just to get some traffic. I remember Betsmixer.com get tagged negative trust rating because of typosquatting (when you type roobett.com you'll go to betsmixer.com).
As long as there is no malicious intent, there’s nothing wrong with registering a domain and redirecting it to a legitimate website that people might have intended on visiting when they mistakenly typed that domain. Most people probably aren’t aware that stake.games is a Stake mirror and would intentionally type that in their browser. It is likely more common that people who frequently visit both will occasionally conflate their names and type the stake.game url by accident.
What betsmixer was doing went above and beyond, because they were registering domains that weren’t even similar to theirs and what is even worse, they were trying to manipulate search engines into displaying their competitor’s name in search results that led to their website.
I just went through one of betsmixer.com accusations threads because several where created for them concerning them using tricks to get more traffic to their site and I saw some differences between them and even the representative of the site boldly denied the claimed and evidence was provided by forum members which eventually led to them being tagged.
I know that bcgame won’t have any shady thing in mind as they have already built a solid reputation for themselves unlike betsmixer.com but I still believe that if this is an issue that would lead to complications or forum members doubting them then they should do something about it, but if it’s normal (I have seen several gambling sites do this though) then there’s nothing to panic over.
