All I will say is that time will tell, but to me, the appointment of Vincent Kompany is a gambler for Bayern Munich because it's a 50/50 scheme, which means either he changes the narration of the team or they still fall back to the normal weak situation. All this is based on expectations, we can say, but I also don’t think I will have more hope for Bayern Munich when Bayer Leverkusen is in the game. There are things to consider, even though Bayern Munich has a nice squad. What about their coach? Vincent Kompany can’t be compared to Xavi Alonso; that is a big fact that needs to be believed in, so I will say the gambling that Bayern Munich came up with. Let's see how it will end with them in the upcoming season if it goes well or not.
Kompany wasn't the first choice for Bayern Munich and so it may slightly be okay to say it true that Bayern Munich has a gamble using kompany as their head coach for the coming season, I believe that they are hopefully their choice doesn't turn out a regrettable one and me I believe that kompany is very much aware of all that is happening and been said about him and will definitely be determined to want to change the narrative in due time so deploying the best of his abilities and even giving room for improvement is what he's going to do and even making sure at everytime the team is pushing towards improvement and recovery of their status and dominance in the bundesliga.
Xabi is the head coach of Leverkusen a s not xavi, in making a comparison between this two coaches you will see that kompany has got more experience than Xabi but Xabi appears to have achieved a whole lot already a d so I will understand the grounds for comparison but company isn't new to coach only that he hasn't have a really decent career results but Xabi is in experience as last season was his first season of handling a team as a head coach and he was still able to achieve a whole lot to the point he made record and ofcourse there are Coaches who performe well in their first time in a club
I don't think there's another better way to explain gambling in football than what Bayern Munich did in appointing Vincent Kompany who oversaw the relegation of Burnley from the English Premier League back to the second division league in England to become the manager of a European big club like Bayern Munich. Vincent Kompany without doubt was a great defender during his days as a professional footballer but that doesn't automatically mean that he'll make a great manager. We saw how he helped Burnley gain promotion to the English Premier League last two seasons but the fact that same Burnley couldn't stand the pressure of the English Premier League tells how inexperienced Vincent Kompany is.
That being said, I think we should give the Belgian a benefit of doubt since Bayern Munich have a much more set of quality players than his former club Burnley. With the number of quality players at Bayern Munich, I think there's every possiblity that Vincent Kompany might likely succeed at Bayern Munich.
