Cracked version is always risky to use since they required to turn off your AV when you install the cracked software because it’s detected as malware while you can’t verify what’s the exact content of the cracked version you download.
Availing the trial version for 30 is the best way if he will just use it for temporary use only or find someone in the forum who can sell a licensed with discounted price if he wants to use it long term.
It’s very risky to suggest a cracked version mate due to the potential malware.
What can OP do? OP is a student and I think that OP is smart enough to know that they should never put anything sensitive or confidential in that device if they're going to put in a cracked version of something there, it's probably for the best that they're going to do that, there's also the fact that the trial version won't be enough because it's only 30 days and I think that OP will be using AutoCAD for more than just 30 days. I know that it's risky but as I said, it's a matter of necessity and being tight on budget.
