I agree with that and that's the only good way to reduce the problem. The mentality of a gambler is to fight back and try to win everything back through the same method which I think will be one of the biggest mistakes that we will make but I won't blame them especially if our mind is clouded by revenge and we have the mindset to take everything back in an easy way.
But, if we are still in a loss that's not that hurtful yet, it's better to just let it go. We must learn to forget fast when it comes to gambling because there's little chance that our revenge will be successful especially with the house edge being the wall to our plan.
Hmmm... that is, if the loss is great, then trying to win it back is not a bad idea? It seems to me that this is not so and any attempt to win back only increases the amount of money lost.
You need to escape this hook in any case - whether your losses are great or not. In general, gambling exists for entertainment (for which money is spent) and the easiest way to get back the money spent is not to spend it further but go to work
