I think there are very few players who don't want to follow their coach's instructions and even if there were they would definitely be placed on the bench. Because all the players on any team must follow all the directions from their coach and also respect him like they respected the previous coach on the team, so Vincent Kompany is really required to be able to give good work to Bayern Munich next season so that Bayern Munich can compete again with all rivals in the Bundesliga and also in the Champions League next season.
Some players do disrespect their coaches sometimes and would even not want to follow their instructions and this is usually faced mostly by young Coaches but then in the long run they later get along and work together, I believe that the disciplinary measures the coaches take sometimes is the best to getting some players come in terms with the fact that they have to respect their coach, such as keeping them on the bench and not having enough play time, even their careers will be endangered because they will not have that opportunity to display the potentials they have got so they can get both personal awards a d even that which the teams will get which in turn gives them recognition and also the opportunity to be seen by other teams and make them potentially prospect during transfer windows.
In the bundesliga, there have been only a very few cases of such so I believe that kompany may not be having such challenge often enough, it will be rather cooperation because Bayern Munich has got a whole lot they want to achieve and getting a player to be in his best character will most likely be the last thing they would want to turn their attention towards, I believe kompany is going to get all of the attention and cooperation he will need to be able deliver the team this season, I believe they will be able to compete in the Bundesliga well but may be slightly challenged in the champions league because kompany isn't experienced in the champions league.
