There are 36 teams competing in the 2024/2025 UCL but the thread is packed with only discussions about Real Madrid and what could be Mbappe's first UCL title. I know that Real Madrid are the kings of UCL for years now but it's worth noting that on those recent years they won the UCL, they came very close to losing it. The final against Liverpool, the comebacks against City, Chelsea and most recently, defeating City and Dortmund to win it the just concluded season.
My point is, there is still a very big chance that Madrid would not win the 2024/2025 UCL. It's a long shot even though Madrid has the dream team.
There would always be these chances but each time, Real Madrid had stepped up to prove speculations to be wrong. It’s so hard to talk about the UCL and not having to mention Real Madrid one too many times. They are the UCL and quite frankly, without them, the game seems to turn to nothing, maybe that’s for me though, I would have liked to see other teams win them off the title and I clearly don’t find any. The teams I see now ain’t their match and Real Madrid with its new improved squad, a squad that have never been bad and yet, you get an elite player like Mbappe who hungers for the UCL title, they could easily win it again.
