Your friend is so irresponsible, the earlier he stops, the better for him. What I see here is desperation and idiocy, is it not a source of income that was giving him the money he was wasting on gambling, why not focus on the source and also invest the excess money wisely in other honourable channels? Must it be gambling? This is the issue with people, they want very cheap money as if their $2,000 could give them $200,000 immediately, but is it that easy? These are the reality questions he needs to ask himself and also tell himself the truth about the answers.

If gambling were that easy, billions of people would be rich by now and you would hardly see any gambling house again because people would have run them down due to too many winnings. But the reverse is the case which should have prompted a sensible person to be cautious. No one is saying one should not gamble but we should be gambling reasonably.

Mind you, no amount of strategy change will change anything here, I hope it will not be too late for him to realise he is a waster.
