There are 36 teams competing in the 2024/2025 UCL but the thread is packed with only discussions about Real Madrid and what could be Mbappe's first UCL title. I know that Real Madrid are the kings of UCL for years now but it's worth noting that on those recent years they won the UCL, they came very close to losing it. The final against Liverpool, the comebacks against City, Chelsea and most recently, defeating City and Dortmund to win it the just concluded season.

My point is, there is still a very big chance that Madrid would not win the 2024/2025 UCL. It's a long shot even though Madrid has the dream team.
You should not go into conclusion when you know that football is not magic but by the strength of the club which includes that of the players and coach. Real Madrid is still seen as the favorite because they just won it, and they have Mbappe in their club now. When there was no Mbappe, they still won it, and I have not seen any club that will be able to challenge them next season.

If you say Real Madrid odds of winning UCL next season is small, tell me the club that you think is strong and capable enough to win Real Madrid next season of they clash in UCL. After all, this was what some person was saying when City won last two seasons.

Aha. I didn't say Madrid's odds are small. I'm only say every other team has a fair chance and this is football. When we get big upsets for Madrid in the coming UCL, I'll be here. I have nothing about the team but everyone here is hell bent on them winning. It was similar to when we had Mbappe, Messi and Neymar in PSG. Everyone was super sure that's the year PSG would win it. They didn't. Madrid has a good chance but there are more than 5 teams that can give them a run for their money. I can assure you of that.
I understand what you mean when you say many people predicted that Paris Saint Germaine were gonna win the UEFA Champions League title the seasons they had Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr and Lionel Messi in the squad but never did they win the trophy through out their stay at the French club but I'll want us to put in to contest with the fact that Paris Saint Germaine never won the trophy before those three players became teammates at the club for Real Madrid, the story is different. Real Madrid before the arrival of Kylian Mbappe are already 15 times European champions and are also gonna be defending the trophy next season. So the arrival of Kylian Mbappe is not for him to help the club win a trophy they've never won before but to help the club continue their European dominance.
Real Madrid already have a very squad that are serial winners of the European Cup and will continue to win in their history. With the presence of Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid, the club's chances of winning the UEFA Champions League in seasons to come I think is now more likely.
