It would be impossible if Germany had to lose at home. Their dignity as hosts would be humiliated when 2006 was repeated with Italy. I think in the next match we will focus on reaping a win rather than giving victory to the opposing team, even though their points are safe. that doesn't mean the enemy team will find it so easy to win against Germany.
Rather than dignity Germany had to finish their group as the leader not to have a matchup against Spain next round already.
The goal came pretty late though but Fullkrug saved them a better matchup probably.So far I've enjoyed the Euros. There has been a high tension in most of the matches. It feels like we are watching a better tournament than Euro 2020. Currently I see Germany one step ahead of all the others. The result last night stems from being a little complacent after 2 wins imho.
Today Group B matches are going to finish. Spain have secured the 1st place so anything can happen in their match against Albania. I think Italy - Croatia will be a close one. I see Italy one step ahead to get the win.
