João Palhinha and Michael Olise are both close to signing their contract with Bayern Munich.
Kompany must have a direct role in these transfers I assume.

He knows both players pretty well from the Premier League. Honestly I believe both transfers are quite good. Palhinha is a wonderful DM. There are Kimmich and Pavlovic also who can play as DM. Kimmich is mainly right-back and he played there quite many times last season. Maybe it would be like Palhinha as DM and Kimmich as RB from now on.
Michael Olise is a great transfer. He would be Bayern Munich's future on the right wing. Gnabry isn't playing like in the past anymore. He would even leave maybe. Sane is the first choice but I think Olise can create some good competition against him.

It looks like Kompany was given the freedom to recruit the players he wanted and Bayern management fully supported Kompany in building the Bayern team, this was great.
João Palhinha and Michael Olise stand out players but unfortunately they are not in a strong team so these two names are not very popular in the Premier League but I am also sure that Kompany has different views for these two players and I think Kompany will bring in several players who fits his coaching style, João Palhinha and Michael Olise are a good start.
Michael Olise is still 22 years old, this is good enough for the future, individually Michael Olise is also talented enough that it is possible for him to develop further with a much bigger team like Bayern Munich.
