Traditional sportsbooks have your address, your phone number, your email address, and more info about you. Some sportsbooks sell your information to list creators. Those list creators sell the info to tout services that call you to get you on board with their plans.

You should already know this is same characteristics you have with banks, fiat casinos and centralized crypto casinos. Fiat casinos may not request for your picture but centralized casinos among other things requested may further ask to see your face which in fact is very discouraging. So what point are you making with this? I'm sure your link could be about a casino running on KYC.
I really don't know what the point of have this discussion since we have already discussed in several threads and topic on the abuse of users privacy amd data's by centralized casinos who engage in such act of selling their clients information on the dark net and used for all sort of illegal deals, but then also we have some of the kyc compliance platforms who have high users protection and will never sell out the customers kyc documents and detail.

The primary reason why casinos request for kyc documents is to ensure that their follow regulatory guidelines and also have something to give to the government in the event that there is need to cooperate with authorities.
