It was a very boring day for the Eurocup, there were matches ending in draws. The match I followed live was the match between England and Slovenia. While talking to my friend, I said that I predicted that this match would end in a draw. I could really take action for this.
Why don't England step up their gear? They have players who can score goals very easily in such matches, but for some reason they seem to be having difficulty. England was like this in the old Eurocups too.
I was also predicting most games will be without less goals or no goals at all because the competition will be intense due to each nation having everything at stake now. England this tournament has shown that they lacked the ability to score goals not that they don’t have does players but because there is no creativity at all. I don’t know why many people actually are surprised but Southgate formation especially the midfield combo is a big reason why they aren’t gonna score goals. The midfield is just packed with runners or energy without creativity. Bellingham might gotten away with many goals at Real Madrid but he is definitely not a creative midfielder, he lacks that creativity. When England went to last World Cup they suffered for the lack of creativity with James Maddison been the only one but this season they have the in form Cole Palmer and Southgate thought it was unwise to start.
I don’t see England progress afar with this combination, he needs to make a choice about his central midfield position, today he testrone Gallagher and Kobbie Mainoo, something which is clear who the better or most calm player his.
I'm even trying to understand what is happening in the group C teams only England has been able to win and get 3 points in that group and today all two games also end in a goaless draw, imagine Demank and Slovenia today played another draw and this has made it 3 straight draws each of them have had.
Seriously Denmark haven’t begin this tournament in a fashion everyone expected from them but it was certainly a good fight to be able to stay in the tournament, having three draws isn’t bad because I could remember Portugal going through same route just to go ahead and won it in the end.
