Yes, in my opinion we cannot compare Leverkusen with Napoli because Napoli performed impressively in the 2022/2023 season but then their performance became very bad in the 2023/2024 season. Leverkusen has a genius coach like Xabi Alonso and I am sure he will be able to bring Leverkusen back to competing at a high level. Leverkusen has a weakness in one-on-one play and it was visible when Atalanta implemented highpress man to man marking tactics. But I'm sure Alonso knows his team's weaknesses and will make several player purchases in this transfer window. I'm not sure Leverkusen will go undefeated again next season. But Leverkusen will still be able to win the Bundesliga and may also be able to reach the UCL knockout stage.
Of course, it cannot be differentiated from Napoli because Leverkusen has the same coach, so it is very likely that Leverkusen will be stronger next season, I think so after seeing the progress of this team since being coached by Xabi Alonso.
Defending the Bundesliga title is not easy, but what I still believe is that Leverkusen will still be able to maintain its performance next season. Whether it is winning the Bundesliga or not, I think the percentage will not be too big because Bayern Munich has also built its team to be stronger.

And Leverkusen will compete in the UCL stage next season, they will face difficult opponents there so it is right for Leverkusen to build a stronger team.

So far we haven't been able to map out the strengths because we haven't seen Leverkusen's movements in the transfer market, maybe after the Euro the teams will aggressively recruit players and I really hope that Leverkusen will bring in lots of quality players.

Even if we actually compare Leverkusen with Napoli, we will also have to remember Napoli was not performing well in this season because most probably they have changed the coach with whom they had the success of winning the Italian league title. When they changed Luciano Spalletti, I said that it was going to be a bad move. Well actually they did not change the coach, the coach did not want to renew his contract if I recall correctly.

Nothing like that happened with Leverkusen. They have been able to keep the coach that they have. And the coach also seems to be very happy staying with Leverkusen. So I think next season is going to be great for Leverkusen. By the way, they have also been able to keep the players at home they have been able to get this great achievement of winning the Bundesliga title.
