Simons is one of the talented players owned by PSG and of course his loan to Leipzig so far has made him develop quite well, even though he is positioned as a left midfielder, but xavi simons can be plotted in various positions in the PSG squad if they later give the opportunity for xavi simons to play in the PSG main squad next season, currently PSG needs talented players to be able to make their squad stronger and I think with all the developments and Xavi Simons current ability, of course releasing or selling him to another team next season is a stupid act done by PSG.
That is the thing people are missing. Sure Mbappe left, but people are acting as if PSG is just some smaller level team that got their player stolen by a bigger team. Don't act as if PSG has no idea what to do, they knew that it was possible for Mbappe to leave all the way last summer when he rejected making another deal, and they knew it since February when he basically declined the official offer as well, and everyone started to talk about how he is going to Real Madrid. So they probably worked on what to do since then, and we are going to see how it will unfold.
I don't know if I feel this right or not but I think PSG is shied now and they have no idea about what they have to do because they never played a whole season without Mbappe in this team for a long time and as I remember when I started watching PSG games, they had Mbappe. They should think about an alternative player but that won't be easy at all because there is no player to take this risk and move PSG and there is no team that lets their player go easily.
