I think I also see Leverkusen with same lenses. I as much as they continue to maintain the same tempo as they do with Xabi Alonso remaining their genius coach, they will definitely go far even in the next season. Maybe Leverkusen may not be able to repeat the same unbeaten streak like they did this season but they will still go far next season and I so much belive that they can still take the Bundesliga league with this current performance. Xabi Alonso is a team builder and have a fairly strong scouting skills. Something you can relate with Pep Guardiola's performance effects.
One of the biggest delusion of the new season would be expecting Leverkusen to maintain the same results they did maintained in the previous season, because they will most definitely get to face even more fight than they did faced in the last season because it's got so much attention focused on them already, the possibilities of success now lays only on them just trying to still defend the title they won even without an unbeaten streak and try to get a very decent finish in the champions league or as much as possible getting to make it to the finals of the champions league.
When xani became the head coach of Leverkusen, little to nothing was expected of him because, he was a first time coah and starting with an average team, only a regular season was expected till a genius results was produced alongside a brilliant performance and this is why I'm still of the opinion that company should not and cannot be under estemated because the much he can do can only be seen after the end of the season, and it wouldn't be a good one to see that and having to be taught a hard lesson trying to see that, this should be the biggest consideration of Leverkusen.
