Many people seem to be worried about how Chelsea will fare next season with their new coach. In fact every coach needs time to adapt to his new team and sometimes this requires a more different approach, depending on the coach. Enzo Maresca may not be one of the top coaches, but give him a chance to prove his worth. Support him as much as you can if you are a true Chelsea fan, but conversely you may doubt his abilities if you are not one.
Recently I heard that Chelsea had agreed to bring in 3 potential young stars to their squad. Marc Guiu, Omari Kellyman and Boca Junior player Aaron Anselmino have reportedly agreed to join Chelsea, but some of them will not be Chelsea players next season because Chelsea will loan them to other clubs as a first step. Chelsea's investment in young players has made it clear that they really want to build a better squad, but of course they need time and proper handling.
I personally always try to be neutral towards any coach, as well as the team he will coach. perhaps, Enzo Maresca was able to bring Chelsea much better than the previous coaches who handled Chelsea. It is possible that in Enzo's hands, Chelsea will transform into a much more competitive team compared to the previous season. in football it is unique, even though it could be said that Enzo Maresca is not a seasoned coach, he will definitely do what a coach should do together with his expert staff. this opportunity, he can build his reputation as a head coach who manages an elite team. but with conditions, Enzo Maresca must do his job and take Chelsea in a much better direction.
On the other hand, I'm sure Enzo is aware that it will be quite challenging to handle Chelsea, where most of the players are young. It could be that, to achieve the club's expectations, he needs more time. ideally, Chelsea must play neatly and well. thus, Enzo Maresca's position will be considered for the following season. Maybe Todd and his staff are planning more long term for the Chelsea squad. so, don't have big hopes if Chelsea is able to compete in the race for the Premier League trophy. being able to finish in the top four of the Premier League, that is already an extraordinary achievement for Enzo and his team, IMO.
