As some news reports, there is also a possibility that Man United could become one of the targets for negotiations. Man United plans to release Greenwood. So it is possible that there will be a swap deal between the two. Apart from that, Arsenal also currently needs a striker, right? That's why there are also rumors about Osimhen going to Arsenal. So there is no decision yet regarding the continuation of these various negotiations.

I don't see Victor Osimhen moving to Manchester United this season, I think they made it clear that they won't priotize big money spending this season and even though Napoli have decided to reduce his price I don't think United would want to spend about £85m for a player in that position, they'll go for lesser options and I think talks are ongoing with Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee who's fastly developing into one of the finest strikers in Europe and could cost Manchester United about £45m to get him signed into their club, well there are still other options like Jonathan David in Lille, Ivan Toney in Brenford but Brentford's valuation of 60- £100m for Toney would make United back off regardless of the fact i think he could've been the perfect striker to compliment Hodjlund in that position but there's still another option i saw on the net which is Maximilian Beier from Hoffenheim, his performance last season is being noticed by top clubs and I heard he's also targeted by Chelsea.
It is wise for Manchester United not to want to pay high transfer fees. They finally managed to think logically because if English teams want a player, he is sold for more expensive prices than usual. Let's think of Antony, for example. What individual talents led him to be purchased at this transfer fee? Even a quality offensive player like Antony could be found for an average of 15-20 million Euros.
