I think that the two biggest criticisms that have always stood top on the list are that Bitcoin is used to carry out criminal activities and that its Volatile nature makes it too risky to invest into or hold. These criticisms mostly come from people that don't know much about Bitcoin and others that are anti Bitcoin like the government who are merely looking for anything cheap to feed people with so they can embrace everything centralized while shying away from the freedom that comes with Bitcoin use.

The weakness I have come to see about Bitcoin as it stands is that the narrative about holding Bitcoin has gradually changed with time because people now consider Bitcoin as an asset that's just good for its investible ability, the freedom of owning Bitcoin and having full control of one's funds is now given lesser attention. I think that for the common man who might not have all that it requires to invest hugely into Bitcoin, what will encourage them to keep Bitcoin is the quality it possesses as an asset that's worth holding as an edge against inflation and that's free from government regulations. It's a minor weakness that has grown with time and if we can actively talk about Bitcoin providing freedom to its holders as much as we talk about the profit we get from investing in Bitcoin, then it wouldn't be a limitation to all.
