This is not the first of his kind to see teams selling their coach that have brought them success to other teams that are also in desperate need of them. Like the case of Xabi Alonso of Bayern Leverkusen, I think he was given many offers from other clubs but decided to stay back in Bayern Leverkusen to strengthen the team more, I don’t know if his pay check was increased but it seems so for him not to accept other big offers from big clubs. Maybe Leicester were not financially buoyant to keep him by increasing his pay check and went to join a bigger club were he’ll get more pay for his work. Maresca will do well at Chelsea but I don’t guarantee his success in the first year yet which will depend on how good of a coach he is.

It has always been the culture of many middle class clubs or those rated lower to actually give opportunities to their employees when a bigger club offer comes. The Leicester city club we’re going to later get a good coach but the problem will be will Enzo Maresca gets such opportunity in his life again? I doubt. It was a good move as Leicester also had to get a buy out clause from Chelsea which was a good profit made. Their new head coach Copper is also not that bad too, he would most likely continue from where Enzo left, that’s one advantage of being a little club manager, the expectations are not much which reduces the pressure on the manager

Enzo Maresca he made a good decision because he took the opportunity to coach a big club like Chelsea. He has been successful at Leicester City and immediately received a good offer from Chelsea so anyone would immediately jump at the opportunity. Because of course a bigger salary and better squad depth will allow Enzo Maresca to have more freedom in coaching at his new club. And yes, an opportunity like that may not come twice. And Enzo Maresca is one of the young coaches who really needs to try out at more big clubs to broaden his insight and career as well as his reputation in the world of coaching. Therefore he must take every good opportunity that comes his way. Enzo Maresca managed to become a good coach because he was also Pep Guardiola's assistant at Man City. So I am even quite confident that Chelsea will develop for the better under the coaching of Enzo Maresca. He will be similar to Arteta who succeeded in making Arsenal a strong team again.
