Georgia was a big surprise to me but I just like the twist because it added more fun to the competition. Even though group stages just concluded, it will not be wrong to say that this is the most fascinating and interesting Euro tournament I have seen. First time in the history of Euro that you cannot be sure of winning until the final whistle.
I expect more intrigues as the knockout stages begin and the first major match that will defy every tactics of prediction is France against Belgium. Both teams are among those expected to win the trophy so there meeting will be a big clash.
No one would have bet a penny on Georgia, when instead the big teams, France, Italy, Spain are really disappointing.
Now I don't want to be controversial, but this is the result of having made a mess of the youth springs.
Unfortunately it can't be fixed in the short term.
But it is not a fact of the youth teams also because it is enough to think that Italy's youth sector has won the European so there are great players who are coming out, I think it is a fact that the level of world football has leveled and that there are no longer only the usual European and South American teams the level has changed
