There was a recent case in Australia where a man lost his entire life savings of $400,000+ in a 48 hour gambling spree.

The gambler lost $12,000 in a single bet and then tried to chase that initial amount but ended up losing his life savings.

I am a seasoned and experienced gambler and my one piece of advice to people is to only bet what you can afford to lose otherwise you are setting yourself up for failure.

I wish voices can be lend for people to listen and change their mindset about gambling but they wouldn't and that's the problem we face in general in gambling. Why even use your life saving to gamble away $400k like you have another backup? Even if you do have one, losing $400k isn't something worth it to ever try in gambling. Sometimes you wonder the kind of spiritual voice that whisper into some gamblers ear that made them to take some hard decisions.

If I ever loss $12k in gambling in a sitting and I know that I'm poor, I will go walk away and go home and cry, that will be worth that chasing some shadows which will never make back the money. It would have pay the gambler more if he used that money to party or squander on himself than lose it to gambling without earning anything but as they say, those with head don't have caps. Undecided
