Joselu had, without a doubt, a respectable time at Madrid. He worked hard, scored a few important goals, but he's no superstar. 34 is the guy's age, not 24. On a team that hopes to win a championship, he won't be leading the line

With Mbappe coming in, Joselu saw the writing on the wall. The suitcase needed to be secured, cash extracted, and off to Qatar. I understand, it's a business. Let's not, however, act like this is some unselfish gesture for the team. It comes to hard, cold money here. We'll see how many championships he wins in the Qatari league
Joselu had a good time with Madrid even though it was short but he was able to make a considerable contribution to Madrid, his move to Qatar is certainly the right thing at this time after Mbappe arrival to Madrid, staying in Madrid is not a choice that he did take because it will only make his career worse because it is indeed fierce competition in the squad, especially the Madrid front line,  Although he still has a good performance as a striker, it is undeniable that his age and stamina will be an obstacle for Joselu to compete in La Liga, although La Liga is not as competitive as the English League, but I think every player who plays in La Liga is required to have quite good stamina, especially since Madrid has a fairly tight schedule.

His move to Qatar will certainly not make his career improve but at least he can spend his career earning a lot of money at the moment, Al Gharafa is one of the big teams in Qatar, so indeed he may still be able to feel the championship trophy there although it is not a prestigious trophy like the La Liga trophy later.
