Yesterday Conte said that De Laurentiis confirmed to him that Kvaratskhelia remains in Napoli. I think he can be trusted, because once he already changed his mind about letting Osimhen go when there were many who wanted to buy this striker. Even if Conte cannot get Lukaku, he will have two very good forwards in the team, Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen. I know that PSG are trying to lure Kvaratskhelia, but he is still very young and I think it will not be difficult to persuade him to stay at Napoli.
Both Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia are asset that every new manager will definitely like to have, there characteristic like pace and been energetic is what is needed to tire apart Seria A I think the last time they won the Scudetto both of them were very much involved in it. So seeing that Conte wants both to stay is not surprising but with the way both of the players wants out from the team, it would be better to cash in on them. Kvaratskhelia’s agent publicly said they are looking for Champions league football next season which we all know that Napoli isn’t playing. Going public like that to me is already a slap on the face of the club. As for Osimhen, his rift the club doesn’t seems to have mended with that even affecting his performance last season keeping them both might cause devaluation in their Market price and also their lack of commitment too.
They both combine could worth 150 million or so, which would be about 3 years worth of costs to run that club. I am not saying don't get anyone, of course get some players, but they could get players for like 50 million, and pocket that 100 million for the future to make sure they are not getting any poorer in the end when players get old or something.
In as much as I would support Napoli cashing on them, I don’t go with your logic here. Clubs like Napoli aren’t selling off players just for gains like that, the two players are elite figures that will generate revenue for the club through sponsorship deals. Aside that, Napoli needs to have top players like this to compete with the top clubs in the league or around the Europe, this are what clubs like Napoli are after
