I appreciate what yous are saying and know the onus with my addiction is on me. Saying that there is also a duty of care for these companies to protect vulnerable gamblers and to put it simple they dont do what they advertise.
I don't expect accounts to be closed in seconds, but i do expect it to be closed in days, weeks and months as well as several emails, live chats and forum discussions is the extreme its got to.
This isn't just about my addiction, but how sportbet.one operate.
Initially last year their self exclusion system didnt work and they admitted that. An I've evidenced that previously. Their TnCs stated to email them, which i have done. They say they offer cool off periods and other ways to protect customers, yet you can see my emails and live chat logs yet accounts still open.
They've profited so much from my lack of impulse control, which is yes my responsibility but they should be doing their bit also, which is why I'm making others aware.
If this was a regulated company in the UK I'd have quite the case for negligence. Again, doesn't take away from my issues, but how they're operating towards vulnerable addicts is disgusting.
