You are a a very sharp person. We are indeed lucky to have so many testers test our exchange back 2.5 years ago.
Some more background:
We have been working on this since 2018-2019 and we only launched our testnet exchange in end of 2021.
Took inputs from bitcointalk.org members and testers and now, finally LIVE in 2024!
Someone quipped some time ago how it is like a first webpage of an HTML learner back from the 90s. You have rightly noticed that the UI is still simplistic. No JavaScript, no BS.
No JS is mainly so that even those not using script blockers can rely upon this site and have full faith in it's extreme measures to keep users private. To be honest, that is our primary unique selling point.
We thank you for pointing the UI changes that we can implement. We will incorporate that soon.
Not sure about the "others' orders" because our exchange is extremely sensitive to NOT DISCLOSING anything you or someone else is trading. That can aide in side-channel discovery attacks.
Imho we are in the days when an image or gradient color and better positioned table can draw more customers.
Great suggestion. We indeed need a designer but our code base is convoluted since we prioritise security and privacy and the page is actually made up of a lot of moving pieces, so it is hard for us to trust the code base with a stranger.
