Narcissistic?  Don't know what your definition of that word is, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it that.  Unnecessary?  Yep, and I've said the same thing in quite a few of those self-congratulatory threads.  Usually my suspicion is that whoever starts up a thread like that is looking for merits, but I don't think that's the case with JollyGood.

But who fucking cares?  Some people just like to toot their own horn for a valid reason, for a silly reason, or a reason nobody's ever going to figure out.  As I said, there are plenty of examples of that, so if you don't like JG tugging himself off because he's made 17,000 posts either say so or put him on ignore or just don't visit the thread anymore. 

And pay attention to what logfiles posted, because it's on the money.
