Last season, despite facing a big storm, Barcelona was still lucky to have Xavi who was able to consistently maintain the players to finish in the runner up position and even the young player Gavi who was initially relied on by Xavi also suffered an injury at that time so he was absent for a longer time but still with Xavi reliability , Barcelona can still appear consistent.

In the next season, Flick as the new coach must try to contribute to managing players very well to maintain Barcelona reputation as a big team in La Liga and I am sure that even though he was doubted and always compared to Madrid, he will prove his reliability in bringing the team to compete tightly to get to the top of the standings with existing players.
In most of my comments before now, o have not failed to give xavi credits because like I always do say, he's deserving of some accolades, only a very few amongst other coaches can be able to perform as much as xavi did even in the mids of all that he had to face in the Barcelona squad, I noticed one brilliancy in his tactics, and that's in how he positions the younger player to using them to their fullest of potential.

Few of the games last season, the yound players like Gavi, yamal and Felix where game changers for the team, not ignoring lewandoski but they all made a perfect combination with the aid of xavi's tactics which he employed especially towards the end of the season. Some of rhw games he didn't start these hound names at the beginning of the game, he brings them in at times when are most needed and for everytime they don't fail to deliver, and I'm having this feeling they where All beginning to have this love for xavi which fostered a good player coach relationship between all of the team members. This is why I still believe his exit will affect Barcelona.

One more season with xavi would have been the game changer for Barcelona and this is in my opinion anyways. I wouldn't want to undermine Flick because I believe he's an experienced coach too and has got his own potential for excellence and getting the team in the right track but I was actually really getting to love xavi and his patterns in Barcelona and so until flick proves to be better I will still continue to make mention of how better Barcelona would have been with xavi.
