Real Madrid is the current champion, as everyone knows. Barcelona may not have a deep bench, but Hansi Flick is a major deal. He made Bayern Munich a winning machine, remember? He's a winner and knows how to maximise player performance.
Barcelona's defence was terrible last season. Im sure Flick, a skilled tactician, will rectify that. He'll have those people playing smoothly, just wait. Barcelona may challenge Real Madrid this season.
Hansi Flick is seriously a top coach with a much better experience than Xavi Hernandez which is definitely a huge boost to the club but one thing needs to be stated, Hansi Flick is not the final solution to the club’s problem at the moment. He meant a Bayern Munich team without much problem and he turned them at a much better team which was great but when he went back to the German national team then which were under crisis but couldn’t turn around the fortune there which means he isn’t solution to all problems. If Barcelona board can actually fix there financial crisis and then sign the players Hansi Flick needed, I think they could then be positioned to challenge for the title next season but right now they are definitely not there yet.
More so i am skeptical about the current players in the club, Hansi Flick will definitely not play the same tiki taka that the club has been used to because we know how he wants a direct approach football rather than recycling possession. So to me I don’t necessarily think that some players could be able to stand this tactics next season if you ask me
There's no doubt to the fact that Hansi Flick is well experienced coach who's achieved great success with other teams before his recent appointment as Barcelona manager but the truth is that for him to achieve success at Barcelona, he must have all the necessary provisions including quality and what class players of which I don't think Barcelona currently have. Because of the financial crisis at Barcelona they've not been able to sign as much quality and what class players as they are supposed to sign recent transfer windows and I don't even think that the club management now have the financial strength to get the number of polity players their new manager we need to succeed at the club. The only way the financial crisis at Barcelona can be fixed now is for the club management to sign a new sponsorship deal but at the moment, they cannot have another sponsorship deal when they already have one with Spotify. Hopefully, Barcelona gets to find a lasting solution to their financial inabilities so they can sign quality players that who help their new manager achieve success.
