Ever since Dortmund's opponents Real Madrid were confirmed, we assumed Real Madrid were going to win another season of the Champions League tournament. But the final match was not as easy as we thought the final match was for Real Madrid. In the final of the Champions League, we saw that Dortmund had a tough competition with Real Madrid. Real Madrid went in at the last minute and won by a goal. In the final match we saw that Dortmund had more attacks than Real Madrid but they were not successful there and they did not have the good finishing that Real Madrid did. However, Manchester City or Bayern Munich can do well in the Champions League final this season alongside Real Madrid, in which case I would not give Dortmund much priority for the Champions League tournament.
No team can be underrated again as long as the champions league competition is concerned. Last season, Dortmund was not among the most preferred club to win the champions league or even get to the finals. Everything worked in their favour, thanks to their hardwork and unrelenting effort to make it to that stage. I have the teams I foresee them to make it to the final stage of the competition but still have in mind of exceptions of what can happen, I mean the unforeseen circumstances that can take place like the one that happened to Dortmund last season. Dortmund might not be seen as a team that can make it far in the next season’s championship league, but if they do, I won’t be surprised and that’s the same way i will have in mind for any other team that will make it that far as Dortmund did last season.
