Rui Patrício the goalkeeper of Roma is about to leave the team. Back in 2021, he joined Roma from the Premier League and he had a good performance which made Mourinho to make him the first goalkeeper in the past when he was working in Roma.
But in the last season he didn't have the same good performance and Rui Patrício was not in a good situation in Roma and that's why he decided to leave.
Since his contract will expire in 2024, he is about to leave and choose his next team as a free agent.
Rui Patrício was contract for 3 years from Wolves since 2021 and after his contract ended Roma has decide will not to extended his contract again especially Rui Patrício currently 36 years old and i have to says he already passed his prime so it is likely that Roma will look for a replacement for him which is younger but he was help Roma when this team can gets the trophy from Conference League but since De Rossi arrived Rui Patrício has lost his place as first goalkeeper of Roma because for this position De Rossi is more likely to trust Mile Svilar rather than him so i think Rui Patrício has been make good decision by leaving Roma because he has no place anymore in this team and if he want to playing regularly i think Rui Patrício should be moved to other team who can guarantee goalkeeper position on the team but i couldn't find any information which team would be his next destinationBut in the last season he didn't have the same good performance and Rui Patrício was not in a good situation in Roma and that's why he decided to leave.
