Although, there are so many factors facilitating the increase in the rate of crime in our society but if we critically deepdown on the root of incessant increase of crime and other criminal activities in our society today it will be so notable that poverty and unemployment especially among the youth are the major anchor to the increase in crime and criminal activities in the society. I think if there is adequate sentization of Bitcoin in our society it will help in the reduction of crime because many people that are involve in some fraudulent activities today would venture into Bitcoin and be making a reasoning resource from Bitcoin if really inconcated with the actually knowledge and information to be successful in the system.
Op, you are right and I believe even if there was an adequate sensitization of Bitcoin nothing would still happen I mean people would have still engaged themselves in anything they feel is good for them. You wey dey this forum like this you been get adequate sensitization of Bitcoin before you join this forum. there's something I strongly believe and that thing is no matter how much awareness you create on a particular thing someone who will not participate will not participate what am saying is that there are people who have decided to engage themselves in immoral activities no matter what they gave to them. In summary I don't think Bitcoin reduce any crime rather it create an opportunity for people who are willing and have the believe that they can make it or sustain themselves through it.
