Manchester United haven't gotten any new players in the transfer market and they have been listing players they don't want to be in the squad next season. Of recent they have been planning on giving Evans a new contract to continue with the Red Devils and they prefer to have Jonny Evans on the team than keeping Harry Maguire who has been one of the players who tried his best to keep the defense on track before injury came calling. Is it a wise choice to have Evans and discarding Maguire? I won't say it is a good idea because Jonny age is not on his side and he's not as fast and mobile as he used to be back then in the days of Alex Ferguson. Victor Jörgen Nilsson Lindelöf is also asked to leave the club like they don't want him, to me is better to give Maguire and Lindelöf a new contract than giving Evans a new deal, and I ask again is Maguire not important for the team for the Red Devils to discard him?
I think several teams in Europe are monitoring players who are currently competing in national teams to recruit that's why the transfer window hasn't been very active and it's normal to get the right players and onfire. Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are the teams looking to build their squads for next season and of course they will be more careful in recruiting players. Currently, these teams are targeting defenders and attackers this is the most needed position in the transfer window.
For Chelsea I think they're running away from success from how they are handling this transfer window, is not impressive in any way. Arsenal are not really rebuilding the team, they're done with that and the only thing they are targeting is to get hold of the EPL title or maybe the UCL, so if you talking about teams who are rebuilding these two (Arsenal and Chelsea) have a different path.
Manchester United don't know where to start from as it is, the players they have can be useful to ETH but the decision making is poor I must say. They easily discard players but getting a replacement is a problem and yet they feel is nice to dump the defender (Maguire) who has been giving his all for the club. If you check in the squad almost every department of the team is faulty and nobody is pointing them out so how then can they improve next campaign?
