Just remembered that I have written the recovery seed phrase of my Electrum on a piece of paper somewhere in my place. I'm wondering what could go wrong since my place isn't too secured. How about trying to memorize it? Is it possible?
Would you try?
What are the benefits? ... and the setbacks.
I find this matter of yours very sad, especially the Electrum wallet key you wrote down on paper is good but should have been kept carefully. Maybe you could save it in a diary it seems pretty safe. But it would be best if you write it down in a diary and keep it in a safe place inside your cupboard, but you can't remember it now because if you keep it in your memory, you could lose your wallet if it's the slightest mistake. So you can write two to three ways on a piece of paper and keep it under your control and in the right place so that it doesn't get lost.
Its possible to memorize your recovery phrase and It is 100% risky if you only rely on it so it is advisable not to rely on your memory as your only method to store your recovery phrase and I wouldn't encourage you to write it down in a piece of paper since your house isn't secure. Important documents store and kept in the house could be stolen, eaten by rodents or possibly got burn by accidental fire or got swept by flood so the best method I can recommend for you to store your recovery phrase is your Google Mail or you can snap it and backup it in you google photos.
But I write down my wallet keys in a diary and keep it safe enough. So that fire, water, wind, they are kept far away. But if it is destroyed by a single earthquake, then I will have nothing to do. But I've never put it in google mail so I don't know how secure it is.
But I will create a very strong mail later and store it there, because will it be enough for future security?
