Slot machines are really designed for the player to use strategies that can be called quite complex.  And playing them without any strategy at all is simply, in my opinion, not at all interesting even for the player himself.  Still, it is better to at least find out a little about possible strategies when playing slot machines before you start actively playing on them.  Still, the probability of losing less in the long term increases slightly, and accordingly the probability of winning also increases slightly.  But here there is a question of choosing a strategy and strictly following this strategy during the game itself.  It seems to me that a significant part of novice players still at some point stop using the strategy and the game begins to be chaotic, which naturally leads to large losses of money.
This is a problem that a novice player still has to deal with on his own.  This will be useful for himself and for his self-esteem as a good gambler.

You are right! Choose the strategy and amount you can afford to spend! Play responsibly and as an option for fun, and not as a source of income!
By the way, this is a very short but correct parting word for any novice gambler.  It is the combination of an interest in the fun of the game and the player's understanding of how much money he can spend without seriously damaging his budget that is key to playing with joy, fun and genuine interest.
This recommendation should be given to any novice player and I would like him to understand it well and remember it.  And also so that he would remember this parting word even when for the first time he feels all that intensity of excitement and emotions during the acute moments of the game.

Yes, but that is kind of a life lesson. Unlikely as it seems, there are  many people who can understand better what decisions mean in life by playing and perhaps getting it wrong on over exciting or playing too much. It may be, if correctly taken, a valuable lesson for other cases in life. It may be useful to put a limit to what you can bet if you are not sure you will not get it wrong.
You just need to determine in advance how much money you can afford to lose in a gambling game in such a way that later you don’t think about the lost money at all and never remember it and, of course, don’t regret it.  But everything starts to change when you lose this money, but the excitement of the game begins to force you to exceed the amount and bet even more money on the game.  This is where self-control and willpower of any person come to the rescue.  If there are not enough of them, then an unacceptable amount of money is lost.  And this just leaves negative experiences from the game and can even turn a person away from gambling forever.  And later in his life he had a bad attitude towards gambling in general.
And this, in my opinion, is unfair and wrong.
