It is going to take time for people to finally accept this change because of the difficulty pronouncing the new name and the old name have really gone far considering the position of Turkey in global politics both in the Middle East and the European Union. But with time people will accept the new name.
If I had to talk about the match in the last 16 rounds. It was a match that I was excited about every second of it. I haven't seen our national team play so focused and clear lately. We knew that Austria was not an easy team, they came first despite which teams were in the group they were leading, and it was not a coincidence that it was because they played well.
I learnt that there was serious jubilation in the streets of Turkey after the match. Maybe the win was not expected but the team did so well and with this determination, Netherlands will have a hard time winning them. I am excited already about the next match.
