The two understanding and great link up between Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen in the 2022/23 season was the main reason why Napoli were able to win the the Italian Serie A title that very season. In as much as they failed to win any trophy at the club last season, we mustn't shy away from the fact that the two forward players still linked up to score beautiful goals last season which is why I think keeping the two players at Napoli will be a good decision for the club but surprisingly, that's unlikely to happen considering the reports about their future with the club. Napoli management are open to offers that will see Victor Osimhen leave the club while they're doing everything possible to make sure Khvicha Kvaratskhelia stays at the club.
Personally, I think they have their reasons why they want to let go of Nigeria striker while they keep the Georgian attacker and I hope it doesn't end up to become a regrettable decision for the club. Victor Osimhen have already proven that he can succeed in any big club in Europe so I believe leaving Napoli will not stop him from delivering quality football.
I agree that combination of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen was key to Napoli success last season. They worked well together and scored some great goals. It is surprising that Napoli might sell Osimhen but they must have their reasons. Osimhen is talented player who can do well at any big club. However I think it would be mistake to let him go without finding someone equally good to replace him. Napoli should be careful not to ruin the team chemistry. Keeping both players would be best but if not I hope they have good plan to stay strong offensively.
The combo of Osimhen and Kvarat is not working well anymore, and It succeeded under Spalletti, not last season. Kvarat and Osimhen's performance declined last season. They underperformed. And then, it's clear if the reason to sell osimhen and kvarat are related to the their performance.
The new manager of Napoli, Antonio Conte, has ordered Napoli to sign Lukaku from Chelsea. I believe this is the best time for Osimhen to leave Napoli. Antonio Conte has found Lukaku to be the right successor to Osimhen. So, the decision to replace Osimhen is quite right. Also, It's wrong to call, just because a player leave from the club, and it ruined the whole chemistry in the team. Both players are liabilities for Napoli. This is because Osimhen and Kvarat are still declining, and their prices will also likely drop. I strongly support napoli to sell them all, before it's too late.
Imagine, you can raise 200 million from selling Osimhen and Kvarat. This money can be used to strengthen all positions. And again, napoli can take the financial advantage from selling them too. All in all, club gets multiple benefits from selling osimhen and kvarat.
