Last season,I made a prediction that Dortmund will teach the UEFA champions league final,and even if they weren't able to win it from Madrid,to me,they really tried their best.
And if not for the chances they missed,they were going to win that cup.They played Madrid to the extent I was really surprised,I never expected such from them,but the chances they missed made them lose the chance of lifting the Champions league trophy.
Next season,I am going for Arsenal to reach that level,with the way they are growing and being consistent,I am confident they can reach the finals of the competition.
Ever since Dortmund's opponents Real Madrid were confirmed, we assumed Real Madrid were going to win another season of the Champions League tournament. But the final match was not as easy as we thought the final match was for Real Madrid. In the final of the Champions League, we saw that Dortmund had a tough competition with Real Madrid. Real Madrid went in at the last minute and won by a goal. In the final match we saw that Dortmund had more attacks than Real Madrid but they were not successful there and they did not have the good finishing that Real Madrid did. However, Manchester City or Bayern Munich can do well in the Champions League final this season alongside Real Madrid, in which case I would not give Dortmund much priority for the Champions League tournament.
We see that Real Madrid does have the credibility it deserves with its name and also with its history, I myself do not deny that Dortmund in the final match of the champions league yesterday performed quite well and they were able to compete in the final match against Real Madrid who had a lot of experience there, yes even though they finally lost too but in terms of how to play and against Real Madrid I think for Dortmund we need to give applause because they can get that far in the Champions league.
Regarding Man City and Bayer Munich, maybe they can perform much more freely in the final because they have stood there to get the trophy, but unfortunately they did not deserve to reach the final last season.
Real Madrid are already different from all other teams be it in Champions League competition or La Liga. Real Madrid has won the UCL trophy 15 times but it is not their past history but they have been performing consistently from the past till now which is why they are on the first place in the list of most UCL trophy wins till date. If Real Madrid does not win the UCL trophy for 8 consecutive seasons, on the other hand, if the team that is second in the UCL trophy wins the UCL title for 8 consecutive seasons, then their achievement will be equal to Real Madrid.
I don't want to compare Real Madrid with any other team for the Champions League competition because any other team may do well one season and then the next season will be bad but Real Madrid will plan for another season after finishing one season. The key to Real Madrid's success is that they plan one match at a time and move forward one match at a time.
