Tomorrow we pick up where we left off with the quarterfinal clash between Spain and Germany. For Germany, the hosts have the first tough match ahead of them. They are not the favorites against Spain, but Germany has a big advantage here as hosts. Germany has to beat Spain, one of the favorites of the tournament. It is not difficult to predict that the match will go to extra time or even penalties.
That could most likely happen in such an important match, especially since both are big countries that are strong in their respective playing styles, it doesn't matter to me if this match ends in a penalty shootout, but if Germany wants to win they must really be able to put up a fight against Spain because this country is really the favorite in this season's Euro so that's Germany's only option if they don't want this match to end in a penalty shootout.
They are both equally strong and candidates for the championship, It's just unfortunate that they had to meet earlier, so one of them will be eliminated from Euro 2024. It is quite difficult to predict who will win this match and it is very likely that this match will continue into extra time and even a penalty shootout (I just hope that the game won't be boring). What is quite interesting to see from this match is the competition between Jamal Musiala and Lamine Yamal (two young players from the respective teams).
