I agree with your thoughts. I also still don't understand why Bayern Munich made Kompany their coach. Kompany has no experience. Kompany has no chance of being successful as Burnley's coach either. Bayern Munich could certainly find a more experienced coach if they wanted to. However, Bayern Munich offered Xabi Alonso to coach their squad. But Alonso rejected the offer.
We don't know what the future plans of the Bayern Munich management are. Perhaps the management wants to revamp the Munich squad with a new coach. This could be one of the reasons why an inexperienced coach like Vincent Kompany was given the job of the coach of Bayern Munich.
No one know their target, but all I know is that the team management will not make a wrong decision and would have considered so many factors that made them conclude and gave him a chance to coach the team.
Bayern Munich management is very experienced. Rarely have we seen the Munich management make the wrong decision. However, we do not understand why an experienced coach like Tuchel has been dismissed and an inexperienced coach like Vincent Kompany has been appointed. But I will be happy if Kompany succeeds next season with Bayern Munich. If Kompany succeeds, both the Bundesliga and Champions League will become competitive. Leverkusen and Munich will fight for the Bundesliga title.
Another thing I am thinking is that, Bayern Munich’s management might have projected his ability to catch big teams since he has some experience while playing under Pep Guardiola,I hope he do better since many people are not confident about him, and we all know that Alonso will not leave Leverkusen for Bayern at this time.
This may be an important point. Guardiola is an excellent coach. We have seen many of those who have worked with Guardiola in the past become excellent coaches. Guardiola's match tactics and match analysis are on another level. Since Vincent Kompany has worked with Guardiola for a long time, it is likely that the Munich management gave Kompany the important role of coach in Munich.
