Why are you so certain that Portugal won't win? Well I can't blame you but if am to even any reason of France winning this game I think it would be as a result to their lose in the Euro finals against Portugal, I think they would want to revenge that but the fact is still clear that France has been absolutely dreadful in performance in this tournament and I just hope they step up their game if not football can be surprising sometimes although I don't need to tell France that as they have witnessed it twice now from a two final lose.
Maybe because Portugal has not fully shown its best performance at this Euro, Portugal managed to win in the first and second matches, but they lost to debutant team Georgia in the last match of the group phase, then struggled to get rid of Slovenia on penalties in the round of 16. France performance was also no better than Portugal, during the four matches played at the Euros, France only managed three goals, two of which resulted from own goals from Austrian and Belgian players, while the other goal came from Mbappe penalty execution against Poland.
I can't predict who will win this match because Portugal and France are both not in their best form. If they want to appear in the semifinals, Portugal and France need to improve the quality of their play, especially when building attacks and completing opportunities. Goal productivity is really needed to maintain their chances of qualifying for the next round, especially since in the semifinals they will meet the team that won the match between Spain or Germany.
