My main reason for liking Bitcoin is because it promotes privacy and I like privacy because it hides your wealth from public view. When people don't know how much you are worth, you enjoy some level of freedom and a sense of security.

Many privacy promotion services have been classified as facilitators of money laundering and terrorism financing. This has led to a crackdown on these services leaving people with few options to maintain privacy.
