I also hope Chelsea can play better this season. Pochettino's dismissal still makes me confused as to why management fired him after he managed to produce good results at the end of the season. It is possible that the club management evaluated it as a whole and Pochettino was deemed to have failed to meet the club board's expectations. Club management will give Enzo Maresca the opportunity to improve the team's ranking. The new coach will bring new tactics and I hope Chelsea can perform better next season.
I'm one person who still didn't find the necessity around the dismissal of pochenttino, his innovation was on the track of getting the team to achieving their dream repositioning in the premier league a d probably across Europe but some how, maybe it didn't look impressive enough to the management of Chelsea so he was layed off, Enzo's arrival is beaming some hopes around the possible improvement for Chelsea and I for one can't wait for the season to start already and see how well Chelsea plays out in their supposed improved firm and performance.
Pochettino was never that bad to the extent of sacking him that way, his plans and reshaping of the team was about to kick off before his sudden dismissal now it is left in the hands of Maresca and it is absolutely going to be a fresh start for the team. We expect more from Maresca, we keep seeing his signings and we just have to believe in him to be better than Pochettino not just by signings alone Ike the way Pochettino did and couldn't win a trophy.
