Arsenal making City be uneasy is true but they didn't get the job done and I believe that the squad was ready as of last season because they have every department ready to play and the bench was full covered by better replacement which was what Arteta was lacking when he first took the job but seeing them the way they were last season you'd say they are good to go. What made the Gunners not to finish the job last season was lack of consistency, if you are always getting a win, at least get a point I believe you can win the league but when you drop close to 9 points in a month you don't expect the other team to also lose too, that's what stopped the Gunners from winning last season's title, Manchester City saw those open spaces the Gunners left and the took advantage of the fact themat Arsenal are never catching up with them even if Arsenal win all their remaining games it won't change a thing unless they (City) drops point which became difficult so miracles Arsenal was praying never came to pass so you can't expect City to lose on the last day, the must win which they did.
Arsenal and Manchester City lose some games in last season,  just that arsenal was not just lucky to get the title of the league and I'll agree with you that arsenal was not consistent in their games last season, even with the performance in their game it wasn't easy for Manchester City.  Arsenal was really a threat to Manchester City last season,  if Arsenal had pit more seriousness in their games getting the title of the league would have been easy for them . From what we saw in the performance of Arsenal's game in last season it is clear that winning the title is not a very difficult task for arsenal , they have the chance of grabbing it thus season if they can be very consistent in their games this season.

My anger with the Gunners is that whenever they have that opportunity of getting more points ahead of any club that's coming close to them on the log you see Arsenal playing as if the league title is no more important to them. At this point I can't say they can win the EPL until I see them lifting it. For Arteta to come out strong against Manchester City or any team that's competing for the league title because is not going to be all about City next season, is to get a sharp striker who's always having eyes for goals, that can get up to 20 goals per season, if they have such a player I think things are set for the Gunners next campaign.
