On papers, we are having Barcelona at their lowest level in last few years with their finances and their performance both are looking terrible but as we all know it's never been predicting about any team things can take good changes for them because they are trying their best for having few suitable players which can make their mark and having some good development in these conditions without any doubt Real Madrid is at the top due to having many big names and successes under their belt in last season but still having any serious prediction about coming season is never been easy.
Hansi Flick is trying to have players which can do things which are suitable for his strategy and teams future because he is having not enough sources with burden is high with huge pressure and situation is not suitable for him and all Barcelona fans which have good expectations from him in coming season after exit of the Xavi who was doing good job.
Management and Hansi Flick are trying to do their best to build squad depth, no matter how difficult the circumstances, they must make the most of the transfer window. In reality, Barcelona will indeed find it difficult to compete for trophies, but what is more important is maintaining their existence as an elite La Liga club. Madrid is currently in a very favorable situation in all aspects.
Hopefully Barcelona can recover as soon as possible, so that the competition for trophies will become more competitive. Meanwhile, Barcelona decline can actually be put to good use by ATM, Girona and several other contestants to compete with Madrid next season. I think Girona has a big chance to appear consistent like last season, I don't think Girona is just a one season sensation.
On the other hand, Hansi Flick seems to have started moving to look for new players, Dani Olmo is reportedly Barcelona main target. I think there are several players who will be released by Barcelona, in order to realize Dani Olmo move. These efforts can be said to be a form of Barcelona struggle towards next season, and I am sure that Barcelona strength will still be taken into account in the competition for trophies.
