When Mauricio Pochetino first started coaching Chelsea, there were quite a lot of doubters about his potential, but as time went by, the coach was able to find his rhythm towards the end of the season and made Chelsea appear impressive until the season ended, but apparently that wasn't enough to impress Chelsea fans and the management, they seemed less than grateful. with the progress given by the coach because they want better results, maybe by being in the top 4.
Unfortunately, Pochettino was not able to meet the club's expectations and in the end he was fired, even though if the club gave him a lot of time, I'm sure Pochettino could restore Chelsea's glory to the past, requiring a slightly longer process because the EPL competition is very difficult.
Pochettino's stats at Chelsea were not easy, many people said Pochettino was not the best coach to manage Chelsea and that the management must fire him, it wasn't easy for Pochettino at the start of last season on social media, and I believe that 80% of people on this forum stated that Pochettino should be fired. But as time goes on Pochettino turned everything around at the end of the season, and some fans appreciated his job, but the management seemed to have not achieved the results they expected after finishing in 6th place. So when Pochettino was fired, many of the people who had being asking for his firing since the beginning of the season were upset that the management was not supposed to fire him immediately since they got positive results in the end. We blamed management for not having patience, which was something we also lacked from the beginning, and suggested they should fire him.
Yes, that's what makes the club out of sync. The management doesn't want to be blamed even though everything happens because they are impatient and always make quick decisions without thinking whether the future will affect the club or not. If it continues like this, Chelsea won't be as successful as in the past. They need to change their thinking to not be selfish and be a little patient with the process.
However, everyone expected Pochettino to bring the team to the top in his first season, forgetting that Chelsea had changed the entire squad. The new players need to adapt to the new environment and manager. I believe if Chelsea management does not achieve what they want by next season, they will start to sell their players.
