Just look at last season: Liverpool, Roma, stacked squads, experienced coaches, and where did it get 'em? Nowhere. This is the UEL, not Sunday league, sweetheart. It's unpredictable
Now, Man Ten Hag's is a fine manager; MU has potential, certainly, but talent by itself does not bring trophies. It's about tenacity, flexibility, and how you handle whatever surprises this competition tosses at you. So let's, indeed, slow down the victory procession's progress. See how the season turns out; keep in mind in football that nothing is certain until the last whistle blows
Liverpool, Roma, Leverkusen, Milan yes I admit they are favorites in the UEL last season and in fact none of them can win the trophy.
Seeing their good performances in their respective leagues makes everyone believe that the winner is one of them. But who would have thought that the opposite would actually happen the club that was not really the favorite actually won the UEL title. So, this is what I mean, I know that next season Man U is not really a favorite for most people because its performance is still difficult to predict. But who knows, if they are not favorites, they could win it just like Atalanta last season.
What is clear is that Erik Ten Hag needs to fix what is wrong with his club. It is not easy to manage a club that is in chaos. He needs to increase stability and consistency so that the club appears impressive.
