I'm giving Vincent Kompany a decent chance, I mean I'm not going to say he's a coach without ability and such before I see what he can demonstrate for Bayern Munich. The past is important, I agree with that but no one knows whether he will be better or not. The players he currently has at Bayern Munich are very supportive, now it's just a matter of how he can make the best use of it, he shouldn't miss the opportunity to respond to the trust placed in him.
It will definitely be difficult because he has to bring Bayern Munich to its peak performance and win the Bundesliga title again. But something that is difficult doesn't mean it's impossible to do, right? The problem is that maybe now he has more competitors, because other teams in the Bundesliga are starting to show good performance and that will definitely make things difficult.
If only Kompnay will be given the time that he needs to put the club back in their best form so that they can start winning Bundesliga again. I don't expect much from him this season because he is new and needs to understand the players capacity before he can make them blend to his own game tactics.

The fans might be expecting too much from him and they will feel that it will be very easy for him to start winning trophies immediately because they are used to winning and that is why the problem lies. Kompany might do great in Bayern as a coach because he has all the resources available.
That's the point, they have to be a little patient in waiting for Bayern Munich's performance to return to its peak performance and maybe they won't be able to see that in their first season with Bayern Munich, because there will definitely be a process that has to be gone through. He must know the players well, including getting to know the playing styles one by one of the players he currently has in the squad. Apart from that, this is also a special note for Vincent Kompany, because he also has to show good progress if he wants to be retained for longer, he doesn't have to be champion but at least he can show a game that is nice to look at.
The fans also have to give it a chance, because it's not uncommon for fans to put too much pressure on a coach in their first season. I know what they mean because I am also a fan of a team, but they must be wiser in criticizing and be able to understand the situation that the new coach will experience.
